On March 15, 2016 China CSP and Solar Heating Industry Blue Book was officially released.
There are 25 thousand characters in 2016 China CSP and Solar Heating Industry Blue Book (hereinafter referred to as the Blue Book) in all and many charts and schematic diagrams are used for illustration mainly in six major aspects: estimation of industrial development status, judgment of situation during the “13th Five-Year Plan” period, guiding ideology, development goals and tasks of industrial development in the “13th Five-Year Plan”, countermeasures, education and publicity, solar heating industry development. Besides, the Blue Book contains the summary of concentrating solar power (CSP) and solar heating industry of China in the past year.
Regarding solar thermal power generation, the Blue Book indicates that by the end of 2016, total installed capacity of solar energy photo-thermal power generation in our country reached 28.3MW, with the newly installed capacity of 10.2MW in 2016.
For the new technology of solar thermal power generation, apart from traditional system optimization technology, system and equipment reliability technology as well as equipment cost and efficiency technology, the system which can meet duck curve of power load and scheduling technology of power grid, super-critical solar thermal power generation technology, super-critical carbon dioxide solar thermal power generation technology, medium technology of solid dielectric thermal absorber and heavy metal alloy thermal absorber are especially worth of attention. The technology of converting solar thermal energy into chemical energy and the technology of preparing liquid and gas fuel are also technologies we need to pay attention to.
In response to current situation of industrial technology in our country, it is illustrated in the Blue Book that the primary mission in the future is: enhance integrated innovation and promote design capability; carry out product quality inspection and thus facilitate demonstrative project. Enhance research on condenser technology to largely reduce the cost; prolong service life of thermal absorber and thermal absorption components; strength research on heat accumulation material system and pay special attention to heat accumulation material with low melting point and high decomposition temperature; research reliable technology of fuse salt thermal absorber; research simulation technique of system in solar thermal power generation station so as to provide support for integrated technology; research thermal absorber with new principles and change in unsteady state of self-adaptive facula energy flow distribution; research condenser with new concept and reduce cosine losses; research heat-transfer fluid of thermal absorber and pay special attention to heavy metal and chemical fluid and so on.
For solar heating, the Blue Book points out that it is the important direction of solar energy low-temperature development in the future. At present, even though abundant achievements have been made in passive solar energy, main technical research is concentrated on direct beneficiary window, air thermal storage and accumulation wall and sunspace, while there is lack of innovative technology. Furthermore, we have not realized utilization of passive solar energy and integrated building design at present. The utilization cost of passive solar energy is too high and influences building appearance and thus the publicity rate of passive solar energy is not high enough. For active solar heating, according to real-time measured data of heating in single building, we find heat collecting efficiency of hot water system is around 40%, the assurance rate is below 35% and the initial cost cannot be collected in service life of the system. In regard to building group in cities and towns, solar heating is still in initial stage of research and further technology research and development needs to be carried out. For solar air conditioning, to ensure continuity of solar air conditioning, we usually use fuel gas or fuel oil boiler as supplementary heat source. Numerous technical development researches need to be carried out on large-scale application of solar air conditioning integrating true intermediate-temperature heat collector and double-effect lithium bromide. Especially, we need to break through absorption air conditioning technique applicable to variable temperature grade.
To review and rearrange the development conditions of solar thermal power generation and solar heating in our country in 2016 and better guide scientific and healthy development of solar thermal energy utilization industry, China National Solar Thermal Energy Alliance entrusts Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences to work out the Blue Book.
