What is Molten Salt?

Molten salts are advanced heat transfer fluids with remarkable heat storage capacity, widely used in industrial and renewable energy applications. Composed typically of 60% Sodium Nitrate and 40% Potassium Nitrate, they operate at temperatures between 300°C and 600°C, delivering higher efficiency and power output compared to traditional fluids like water, steam, or heat transfer oils.

Challenges: Despite their efficiency, molten salts present challenges, including corrosion and material stability under extreme conditions.

BPG 7829: Our specially engineered BPG 7829 is designed to address these challenges, enhancing the durability and safety of molten salt systems. With BPG 7829, you can count on optimized performance for longer-lasting, reliable operation in high-temperature environments.
