Dear colleagues in the CSP industry, friends from all walks of life, and photography enthusiasts,
CSTA successfully hosted the " Solar Thermal Power Stations in Autumn Photography Competition" recently. The competition received an enthusiastic response and active participation from a wide range of photography enthusiasts, professional photographers, practitioners in the solar thermal power generation industry, and individuals from all walks of life who are concerned about the development of green energy.After comprehensive evaluation and scoring by multiple judges, a total of 10 photographic works were awarded.
In order to continue to showcase the unique charm of the CSP Stations and capture its vitality in spring, the National Alliance for Solar Thermal Industry Technology Innovation will continue to host the " Solar Thermal Power Stations in Spring Photography Competition." The details of the competition are as follows:
I .Theme of the Competition
“Green Energy, Spring Charm” — Capturing the natural scenery, technological beauty, and humanistic care of the solar thermal power stations in spring through the lens.
II. Organizing Institutions
Organizers: China Solar Thermal Alliance
Supporting Organization: Solar Thermal Power Committee of Chinese Renewable Energy Society
III. Participants
Open to photography enthusiasts, professional photographers, CSP industry professionals, and individuals from all sectors interested in the development of green energy around the world.
IV. Submission Period
From February 18, 2025 to May 28, 2025.
V. Requirements for Submissions

VI. Selection Criteria
1. Works should focus on spring, with healthy and positive content and a clear theme;
2. Innovative composition, unique perspective, and good visual effect;
4. Creative work that can resonate with the audience;
5. Reflects the environmental protection and sustainable development concepts of CSP;
6. Works that use post-processing and AI technology for beautification will be deducted 20% of points.
VII. Awards
1. Grand Prize (1 winner): Prize of 10,000 yuan + Certificate of Award
2. First Prize (2 winners): Prize of 1,000 yuan + Certificate of Award
3. Second Prize (3 winners): Prize of 500 yuan + Certificate of Award
4. Third Prize (4 winners): Prize of 100 yuan + Certificate of Award
VIII. Submission Method
Please submit your entries and the registration form to the designated email address: cnste@vip.126.com before May 28, 2025.
IX. Notes
1. The copyright, authorship, and all related rights of all entries belong to the participants. The organizers have the right to edit, modify, abridge, and disseminate the entries for promotional activities related to the competition. Participants are responsible for resolving any intellectual property disputes and legal liabilities related to their entries. The organizers, hosts, and supporting parties bear no responsibility.
2. After selection, the organizers will collect the original data files of the works for exhibition and catalogue production. Individuals and units submitting digital photographs must submit the digital files (scan negatives if shot on film) to the National Solar Thermal Alliance within the specified time. Failure to provide them on time will result in automatic forfeiture of the exhibition qualification.
4. There is no submission fee for this photography competition, and entries will not be returned. Participants are advised to keep their own backups.
For all selected works, the organizers, hosts, and supporting parties have the right to display, publish, and use the selected works without restriction and without compensation during the term of copyright, through means such as reproduction, distribution, exhibition, screening, information network dissemination, and publication, without the need to obtain the author's consent again and without additional payment.
5. Participants must retain the original files of their works for verification in case they win.
6. The organizers reserve the final interpretation rights of this competition.
