In response to the national call for clean energy and sustainable development, to further promote the popularization and application of CSP technology, and to showcase the magnificent scenery and scientific and technological achievements in the field of CSP, China Solar Thermal Alliance is organizing the "Solar Thermal Power Plant Autumn Photography Competition." The purpose of this competition is to capture the unique charm of CSP through the lens, to spread the concept of green energy, and to inspire public interest and love for renewable energy. The details of the competition are as follows:
I .Theme of the Competition
"Dance of Solar Heat, Green Future" - Capture the autumn moments of CSP through the lens.
II. Organizing Institutions
Organizers: China Solar Thermal Alliance
Host: ZhongGuanCun XinYuan Solar Thermal Technology Service Center
Supporting Organization: Solar Thermal Power Committee of Chinese Renewable Energy Society
III. Participants
Open to photography enthusiasts, professional photographers, CSP industry professionals, and individuals from all sectors interested in the development of green energy around the world.
IV. Submission Period From October 22, 2024, to December 22, 2024.

VI. Selection Criteria
1. Clear theme, closely aligned with the competition's theme;
2. Innovative composition, unique perspective, and good visual effect;
3. High technical level, with appropriate use of color and light;
4. Creative work that can resonate with the audience;
5. Reflects the environmental protection and sustainable development concepts of CSP;
6. Works that use post-processing and AI technology for beautification will be deducted 20% of points.
VII. Awards
1. Grand Prize (1 winner): Prize of 10,000 yuan + Certificate of Award
2. First Prize (2 winners): Prize of 1,000 yuan + Certificate of Award
3. Second Prize (3 winners): Prize of 500 yuan + Certificate of Award
4. Third Prize (4 winners): Prize of 100 yuan + Certificate of Award
VIII. Submission Method
Please submit your entries and the registration form to the designated email address: cnste@vip.126.com before December 22th.
IX. Notes
1. The copyright, authorship, and all related rights of all entries belong to the participants. The organizers have the right to edit, modify, abridge, and disseminate the entries for promotional activities related to the competition. Participants are responsible for resolving any intellectual property disputes and legal liabilities related to their entries. The organizers, hosts, and supporting parties bear no responsibility.
2. After selection, the organizers will collect the original data files of the works for exhibition and catalogue production. Individuals and units submitting digital photographs must submit the digital files (scan negatives if shot on film) to the National Solar Thermal Alliance within the specified time. Failure to provide them on time will result in automatic forfeiture of the exhibition qualification.
3. There is no submission fee for this photography competition, and entries will not be returned. Participants are advised to keep their own backups.
4. For all selected works, the organizers, hosts, and supporting parties have the right to display, publish, and use the selected works without restriction and without compensation during the term of copyright, through means such as reproduction, distribution, exhibition, screening, information network dissemination, and publication, without the need to obtain the author's consent again and without additional payment.
5. Participants must retain the original files of their works for verification in case they win.
6. The organizers reserve the final interpretation rights of this competition.
