On April 18, the two cold and hot molten salt tank projects of the CTGR Hami 100MW solar thermal project in Xinjiang, undertaken by Shanghai Lanbin Petrochemical Equipment Co., Ltd. under Lanke Hi-Tech, successfully completed the water filling test ahead of schedule. On the same day, the cold and hot molten salt tanks of the Three Gorges New Energy Golmud 100MW solar thermal project, also undertaken by the company, passed the completion acceptance.
Despite extreme climates and high-altitude hypoxia, the project teams met the milestone ahead of time. The successful water filling test for the Hami project confirmed the molten salt tanks' structural integrity and airtightness, ensuring stable and reliable operation. The Golmud project's tanks also passed completion acceptance. These projects highlight Lanke Hi-Tech's strength in solar thermal storage and mark a solid step toward grid connection and power generation.
