Successful Commencement in Training of SAM Software

In the morning of March 14, the training class of “Utilization of SAM Software to Simulate Performance and Economical Efficiency of Solar Thermal Power Generation System” carried out by China National Solar Thermal Energy Alliance was opened in Beijing! This training is mainly concentrated on utilization of SAM software and the training objective is that when the training classes are finished, trainees can use SAM software to estimate feasibility of parabolic trough solar thermal power generation system, tower-type solar thermal power generation system and linear Fresnel project. The training duration is 4 days and contents of training at the first day involve meteorological data, financial model, input and output of financial model, actual maneuver of calculating electricity price in 100MW solar thermal power generation project as well as financial model applicable to Chinese projects; on the second day, we will introduce scale of parabolic trough solar thermal power generation system, spotlight field, power generation circulation and contents of heat accumulation system and then we will carry out actual simulation of grouping; on the third day, the training is about linear Fresnel system, including spotlight field, heat collection, thermal absorber and power generation circulation etc.; on the fourth day, we mainly introduce tower-type solar thermal power generation system, including how to use SAM software in trial calculation of power station capacity, arrangement of heliostat, parameter setting for heat absorption tower and heat absorber, parameter setting of power generation circulation and heat accumulation system and then we have carried out actual operation of computer.
