China National Solar Thermal Energy Alliance held the 3rd session of members’ assembly in Beijing recently. 52 qualified representatives from 52 members of the Alliance presented the assembly.
The assembly reviewed the working report and finical report of the previous session and voted to elect the new Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Alliance.
Following the principle of fairness, justness and openness, based on the related regulations of the Alliance, Mr. Yi Yuechun, vice president of China Renewable Energy Engineering Institute, was elected as the new Chairman. Dr. Wang Zhifeng, professor of Institute of Electrical Engineering of Chinese Academy of Sciences; Mr. Qin Xiaoping, president of Inner Mongolia Electric Power Survey & Design Institute Co., Ltd; Mr. Shao Jixin, president and secretary of the party leadership group of Gansu Building Materials Academy; Mr. Xue Liming, founder of Rayspower Energy Group Co., Ltd; Mr. Zong Jun, director of Solar Energy Research Department of State Power Investment Central Research Institute; Dr. Yao Zhihao, founder, CEO & CTO of SunCan Co., Ltd were elected as the Vice Chairman of the Alliance. Dr. Wang Zhifeng was also the Executive Vice Chairman of the third council at the same time.
As the leadship, these seven persons will form the Chairman Board of the Alliance to direct the work in the next 3 years. (Translated by Cheng Wenyan)
