The 2015 Alliance Postgraduate Forum opened in Tianjin University on November 19th, 2015. The forum was hosted by China National Solar Thermal Energy Alliance, organized by School of Mechanical Engineering, Tianjin University, co-organized by Tianjin Renewable Energy Society and supported by Acta Energiae Solaris Sinica.
The theme of the forum is “My Research, My Innovation”. Mr. Zhao Li, professor of Tianjin University, presided over the forum. Professor Shuxin Wang, dean of School of Mechanical Engineering,Tianjin University, addressed the opening ceremony. About 30 postgraduates from Beijing University of Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Tianjin University, Wuhan University of Technology, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Yunnan Normal University and Zhejiang University participated in the forum and presented their research. Based on a fair and just evaluation, ten outstanding papers were selected by the reviewers. The top three papers would be recommended after modification to Acta Energiae Solaris Sinica for publication.
The Alliance’s Postgraduates Forum has been held for 5 years, aiming to provide those postgraduates from Alliance members a platform to do a face-to-face communication and exchange. So far, the forum has made active contributions in expanding their research scope and promoting information sharing. (Edited by Zhaorui Yang)
