On November 9th, with the announcement of Mr. Wang Yonghong, deputy secretary of Dunhuang municipality, Shouhang Resources Saving’s 100MW solar tower power plant initiated its groundbreaking ceremony. Local government officials and company leaders attended the ceremony.
The plant plans to use solar tower technology, with molten salt as the heat transfer fluid and thermal storage medium. It is China’s first 100MW solar tower plant that starts construction.
