The standards reviewing meeting of National Solar Thermal Energy Alliance was held on Aug, 25, 2014. Altogether 12 standards experts attended the meeting, at which two alliance standards compiled by Institute Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences passed the reviewing.
The two standards are “Heliostat quality test methods” and “Heliostat tracking error testing methods”. Experts from Beijing University of Technology, General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals, Jiangsu Sunhome New Energy Co., Ltd.,Tsinghua University, Linuo New material Co., Ltd., SUPCON Co., Ltd., China National Institute of Standardization, China Academy of Building Research, Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanicals and Physics, CAS, Institute of Electrical Engineering, CAS, China Energy Engineering Institute listened to the introduction of the two standards and reviewed the standards text carefully.
The expert group thought that the two standards meet the development requirement of tower power technology and CSP industry, have strong significance for ensuring the project quality and regulating market behavior, thus have broad market prospect.
