Installation Work for Heat Absorbing Tower Equipment in CHN Energy Qingyu DC Phase II 100MW Solar Thermal Project Commences
Recently, the first lifting of equipment for the heat absorbing tower of the CHN Energy Qingyu DC Phase II 100MW CSP project was successfully completed, marking the official start of the installation work for the heat absorbing tower equipment.
The Qingyu DC Phase II solar thermal project is located in the southern part of the Ecological CSP Park in Haibei Prefecture, Qinghai Province. The project is equipped with a heat storage capacity of 2,780 MWh, equivalent to a heat storage duration of 12 hours. It is developed by CHN Energy Qingyu (Gonghe) New Energy Development Co., Ltd., with the EPC general contracting jointly undertaken by the Northwest Engineering Corporation Limited and Power China Hubei Engineering CO.,LTD, and the concentrated solar power collection system equipment is provided by Cosin Solar Technology Co., Ltd.
