From March 13 to 14, the feasibility study report for the Qinghai Supcon Delingha 350MW CSP demonstration (pilot) project, invested and constructed by Zhejiang Zhongguang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Zhongguang New Energy), passed the review.

The project adopts the world's leading tower CSP technology, equipped with a 14-hour energy storage system. It is expected to generate 985 million kWh of electricity annually, meeting the annual electricity needs of 500,000 households, saving approximately 295,000 tons of standard coal per year, and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 870,000 tons.

It is understood that the project will also adopt a low-position tank thermal storage system design and new-generation intelligent high-precision 37-square-meter heliostats, among other core technologies.

"Overall, the construction unit of this project has extensive experience in the field of CSP," said Liu Xin, project manager of the Qinghai Supcon Solar Delingha 350MW CSP demonstration (pilot) project, on the 21st. At the seminar, various professional groups provided valuable opinions and suggestions on the research report.

Once completed, the Supcon Delingha 350MW CSP project will enhance the local clean energy consumption level, improve the efficiency of clean energy utilization, ensure the stable supply of clean energy, and provide a demonstration for the development of the domestic clean energy industry.
