On March 15, the first heliostat of the Jinghe Xinhua New Energy 100MW CSP project, jointly undertaken by Shouhang High-tech Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shouhang High-Tech") as part of a consortium in the PC general contracting, was successfully assembled and launched. This marks the project's official entry into a critical construction phase.
The entire production line equipment was brought on-site on February 8, 2025. By March 11, the installation, commissioning, and assembly of the entire production line were completed, along with the planning and layout of safety signs and labels in the assembly workshop. This achievement set a record for the shortest commissioning cycle in the industry.
The first heliostat launched this time is a small-sized heliostat with a single-sided area of 32.76 square meters. It is the first small-sized heliostat independently developed by Shouhang High-Tech, and the accompanying production line is also a core device specifically designed and manufactured by Shouhang High-Tech for the production of small-sized heliostats.
The Jinghe Project, as part of the "solar thermal + photovoltaic" integrated base project in Bortala, Xinjiang, has a total installed capacity of 1,000MW (100MW solar thermal + 900MW photovoltaic) and a total investment of 6.144 billion yuan. The project employs tower-type concentrated solar power generation technology and is equipped with an 8-hour molten salt energy storage system.
