The 18th China Concentrating Solar Power Conference (CSPC) kicked off in the historic city of Dunhuang on September 11, 2024. The event gathered 720 participants, including government officials, industry professionals, and leading experts from across the nation, who held extensive discussions on latest advancements and cutting-edge technologies in the CSP industry.
Academician Xu Jianzhong of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Wang Liqi, Secretary of Jiuquan Municipal Party Committee, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. They lauded the CSP sector for its significant role in advancing energy transition and promoting sustainable development, and urged the participants to strengthen collaboration and continue pushing for the progress and widespread application of CSP technology.

The 2024 CSPC lasts three days, two days of presentations and discussions followed by one day of power plant tours.
