At 19:18 of July 5, 2022, Qinghai Supcon Solar Delingha 50MW CSP plant had generated 755,200kWh on that day (as of the press time, the power station was still running at full load). From August 5 of 2021to July 5, 2022, the real generation of the 11 months reached 146 million kWh, one month in advance meeting the annual design value of power generation (146 million kWh). According to the existing public data, it became the first in the country and around the world to have this record.

Qinghai Supcon Solar Delingha 50MW CSP plant first connected to the grid on December 30, 2018. The plant had its further commissioning and trial operation during the first half year of 2019, and it reached a full load operation for the first time on April 17, 2019. In June 2019, the plant passed the national technical acceptance by meeting the 240 hours operation. Since July 2019, it started to enter the regular commercial operation phase.

During the subsequent operation, the power station repeatedly broke the record of the single-day and single-month generation. It has been solved the problems, such as frozen block of molten salt receiver pipes, large vibration of cold salt pump, steam turbine repair, etc. and . Since the last rectification of the steam turbine and the main steam pipeline on August 5, 2021, it has been kept in a well condition and running steadily for 11 months, and realized the annual design value one month earlier than expected.
