Recently, the China Solar Thermal Alliance(CSTA) received a letter of thanks from the New Energy and Renewable Energy Department of the National Energy Administration(NEA). This is another affirmation of the work of the CSTA in 2021 by the New Energy and Renewable Energy Department of the NEA following the 2020 thanks letter.
The letter stated that CSTA actively spoke for the solar thermal industry, carried out a lot of research work on the promotion of concentrating solar power (CSP) demonstration projects, and organized the China Solar Thermal Electricity Conference, and promoted the sustainable and healthy development of China's CSP technology and industry, and provided solid support for government decision-making.
As a technological innovation cooperative organization composed of related enterprises, universities and scientific research institutions in the field of solar thermal energy, the CSTA is committed to promoting the healthy and sustainable development of solar thermal utilization technology and industry. Up to now, there are more than 150 members, covering nearly the whole industrial chain of solar thermal utilization. CSTA is the one of the 26 A-level alliances (national level) assessed by the Ministry of Science and Technology, with secretariat located in the chairman member - Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
