Recently, Hebei Handan "Solar thermal + Cultural Tourism" Comprehensive Development Demonstration Projectt Phase I, the first tender section of the "Water World" venue with steel structure buildings as the main building, and the "Ice and Snow World" project has entered a critical construction stage.

This project breaks through the large-scale application of solar thermal resources to the energy supply of venues, implements the development model of "solar thermal + single building", and pioneers the use of trough solar thermal collection system combined with the Four Seasons Water World Cultural Tourism Project to solve the problem of high energy consumption in hydrophilic cultural tourism, projects has achieved zero emissions from the use of building materials and project operation, and fully reflects the concept of environmental protection.

The Project is located in Zhanghe Economic Development Zone, Handan City, Hebei Province. It covers an area of over 1,000 acres and has a total construction area of over 500,000 square meters. It is a key project in Hebei Province. The project owner is Handan Jianxu New Energy Co., Ltd. The first phase of the projectlaunched in May 2020, with a total investment of 5 billion yuan and a total construction area of 350,000 square meters. The China Chemical Engineering Heavy Machinery Corporation is the EPC contractor.

The main project of the project is to construct 112,000 square meters of trough-type solar concentrating field and supporting facilities, taking solar thermal resources as the main body of energy supply. After the project is completed, it will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 78,600 tons per year, which is equivalent to 4366 mu caused by tree planting. The construction of the project will also provide a construction model for other small and medium-sized cities, promote the popularization and application of solar central heating, and promote the rapid development of the solar thermal resource utilization industry.
