Recently, Beijing Shouhang IHW Resources Saving Technology Company (Stock Code: 002665) announced that its 100MW molten salt tower plant in Dunhuang has finished all the civil works and started to install the facilities. It is expected that the plant will be connected to the grid by the end of 2018. There will have a total of 12078 heliostats, a 11 hours thermal storage and a 261 meters high solar tower.
The plant is one of the China’s 20 first batch of CSP demonstration projects, which will enjoy a feed-in tariff of 1.15RMB/kWh if generating electricity by the end of 2018.
