On Sep. 2016, China National Energy Administration announced the first 20 CSP projects, which will enjoy a benchmark feed-in-tariff of 1.15Yuan/kWh if they can generate electricity fully by the end of 2018. However, due to many reasons, most of them have the difficulties in meeting the time deadline. At the beginning of this year, China National Solar Thermal Alliance submitted a report to the China National Energy Administration and NDRC to reflect the problems and demands of each CSP project owner and suggest how to effectively push the CSP development in China.
On March, 2018, the new plan for the first 20 CSP demo projects was disclosed. Here we summarized as the below for reference.
As the projects will be postponed to different degree, it's expected that the feed-in tariff enjoyed will also have a change. Currently the policy is made but hasn't been issued.
