As a new energy enterprise, Broad Youth has completed the preliminary procedures of its 50MW parabolic trough plant in Delingha city, Qinghai province, China. The project will start construction soon, and is selecting partners now.
The plant, which is not far from CGNPC’s 50MW parabolic trough plant, covers a planned area of about 3600 acres. In order to minimize the investment risks and prove the feasibility of the technology and reliability of the equipments, Broad Youth is building a 600m parabolic trough test loop. Until now, a 150m loop has been built with its own fund, and the follow-up 450m loop will be completed together with its partners by October, 2015.
According to Mr. Zhang Ji, general manager of Broad Youth, the company hopes to identify partners and enter the substantial construction stage as soon as possible. The 50MW plant is expected to put into operation by the end of 2017.
