China Solar Thermal Alliance is pleased to announce the 2024 China CSP Conference to be held from September 10-13, 2024, in Dunhuang, Gansu Province, China.

“China Concentrating Solar Power Conference” (short-termed as China CSPC) was renamed in 2015 from the “Sanya International Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) Forum” held in 2007. Under the theme of “Promoting the Development of CSP Industry through Scientific and Technological Innovation”, 17 sessions of China CSP Conference have been successfully held so far. Mr. Xu Jianzhong, permanent honorary chairman of the Conference and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, expressed that, “as the most authoritative and influential event in the field of CSP in China, China CSP Conference plays an important role in promoting the development of CSP technologies and industries in China and across the world.”
In order to further promote exchanges and cooperation in the field of CSP and related technologies, it has been planned that the 18th China CSPC will be held in Dunhuang City, Gansu Province, China in early September 2024. We now call for papers for China CSP Conference 2024.
I. Conference Organization

II. Call for papers
1. Scope: solar energy concentration, heat collection, heat transfer, thermal storage and exchange technologies, CSP system integration, grid connection, wind, PV and CSP hybrid projects, manufacturing of advanced materials and equipment for CSP, system/component reliability evaluation, solar resource assessment, solar thermochemistry, complementary power generation from solar energy and fossil fuels, optimized combination of thermal power and renewable energy, economy and cost reduction pathways for CSP, etc.
2. Paper submission: If you wish to present a paper, an extended abstract should be submitted electronically by filling-up and sending back the attached form. The submission must provide clear information that will allow us to determine the significance and quality of your work. Review criteria include originality, scientific and technical quality of the results, and relevance to the conference topics.
3. Paper acceptance: The hosts will organize experts to review all the submitted papers and determine the form of acceptance (oral speech or poster).

IV. Conference registration
The payment of registration fee is required to attend the conference. Attendants are responsible for their own transportation and accommodation expenses.

A certain number of persons will be exempted from payment of registration fee in accordance with the relevant Cooperation Agreement. |

1) CSTA members that have paid the membership fees for 2024 are exempt from payment of registration fees for two persons.
2) Where any attendee cannot attend the Conference after the payment of registration fee and the issuance of the related invoice, the registration fee cannot be refunded but can be used for next year’s conference.
3) Students needs to prevent Student ID and other necessary certificates when signing-up.
4) When more than three persons from the same entity attend the Conference, a 10% discount on the registration fee will be offered.
Registration fees are collected by the CSTA Secretariat. The discount date for registration fees is the actual payment date. Registration fees are to be transferred to the account detailed below.

V. Accommodation
Dunhuang Tianhe Hotel (No. 106, Mingshan Middle Road, Dunhuang), which is 16 km from Dunhuang Mogao International Airport, 14 km from Dunhuang Railway Station, 5km to the Mingsha Mountains (Singing Sand Dunes), 12km to the Mogao Caves.
