On June 27, 2012, Dr. Wang Zhifeng, president of National Alliance for Solar Thermal Energy, met with Dr. Luis Crespo, president of European Solar Thermal Electricity Association (ESTELA), in Badaling CSP demonstration plant. Both sides introduced the objectives, missions and structures of their own associations in a friendly atmosphere. Both parties were willing to build a platform jointly to promote CSP technology exchanges and cooperation between European countries and China, so as to facilitate the applications of CSP technology around the world. Dr. Luis Crespo and Dr. Wang Zhifeng also had extensive discussions on future cooperation mode.
