The conference arranged for the Chinese delegate to give the first keynote report, which detailed China's technological innovation achievements and the development of the scaled industrialization of CSP, receiving high recognition from international peers. The report introduced China's innovative achievements in CSP science and technology, especially the successful development of the world's first set of supercritical carbon dioxide CSP system, which is expected to provide a solid support for the commercialization and scaled development of CSP due to its characteristics of low cost, high efficiency, and high flexibility. The report used actual data to illustrate the power generation curve of the currently operating 680MW power station from January 1, 2024, to October 1, 2024, with the latest data showing the high efficiency and stable performance of the power station. China's construction scale in the field of CSP is also remarkable, and the conference report used on-site photos and data of various projects to comprehensively display the situation of the 3GW power station under construction. The construction scale not only shows China's ambition in the field of CSP but also provides new momentum for the development of global CSP.
In addition, Chinese presence was active in the conference exhibition, where Chinese participants all came from CSTA. The technologies and products displayed at the exhibition showed the complete industrial chain of CSP, from upstream material supply to equipment manufacturing and engineering design integration.
During the Q&A session and post-conference exchanges, delegates from various countries expressed great interest and praise for the dual development of China's CSP technology and industry, as well as for China's innovative policy of promoting the development of CSP in "three steps". China's high-tech and engineering technology level in CSP has been highly recognized by international peers.
At the closing ceremony, the conference chair announced that the 31st SolarPACES Conference will be held in Almería, Spain.
