SunCan’s CSP project in Dunhuang, China obtained approval

SunCan announced that the preliminary work of its 10MW molten salt solar tower power project in Dunhuang, China obtained approval from Gansu Development and Reform Commission in Sep. 3, 2013.

Dunhuang SunCan New Energy Co., Ltd., which is SunCan’s wholly-owned subsidiaries, made the application to Gansu Development and Reform Commission by Jiuquan Bureau of Energy, and the preliminary work of the 10MW molten salt solar tower power project will be conducted by Dunhuang SunCan. After the completion of the project, they could enjoy national unified tariff subsidy policy. Besides, SunCan is to build a 100MW molten salt tower power plant in Dunhuang, and this 10 MW project is the first phase of it.

Dunhuang SunCan New Energy Co., Ltd finished its registration on July 29, 2013, with a registered capital of 5 million yuan.
