Notice on the 2025 China CSP Conference

To all relevant organizations and individuals:

To further facilitate the exchange and collaboration in CSP and related technologies, the CSTA, Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, China Renewable Energy Society, and Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering plan to jointly host the 2025 China CSP Conference in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, in mid-August. Previously known as the "International Forum on Solar Thermal Power Generation Technology in Sanya" first held in 2007, the conference has successfully been held for eighteen sessions under the theme "Promoting the industrial development of CSP through technological innovation." It has been renamed the China CSP Conference. Academician Xu Jianzhong of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the conference’s permanent honorary chair, stated that as China’s most authoritative and influential solar technology event, the China CSP Conference has significantly propelled the development of CSP technologies and industries both nationally and globally.

I. Conference Organization

Date: August 12–15, 2025 (Registration on August 12, Tuesday)

III. Conference Paper Solicitation

- Scope: Soliciting papers on CSP policies, economic analysis, solar concentration, heat absorption, heat transfer, heat storage, heat exchange technologies, solar thermal power generation system integration, wind-solar-thermal-storage hybrid projects, CSP materials and equipment manufacturing, component and system reliability assessment, solar resource evaluation, solar thermochemistry, solar-fossil energy complementary power generation, thermal power and new energy optimization and joint operation, and other high-temperature solar thermal applications.

- Submission Requirements: Submissions should reflect the latest research findings, innovations, and applications in high-temperature solar thermal utilization technologies, ensuring originality and significant research and application value.

- Submission Method: Submit the abstract submission form (see Appendix 1). The abstract should clearly outline the main content of the report for review purposes.

- Acceptance: Experts will review submissions to determine the form of acceptance (oral or poster presentation).

- Key Dates:

  - Abstract submission deadline: June 15, 2025

  - Acceptance notification: Before June 30, 2025

  - Full poster submission: August 1, 2025

  - Presentation material submission: August 10, 2025

IV. Conference Registration

A registration fee is required for attendance. Early registration and payment qualify for discounts. Participants are responsible for their own transportation and accommodation costs.

Note: A 10% discount on registration fees is available for groups of more than three participants from the same organization (excluding the third participant). The dates above refer to the actual payment dates.

V.Conference Hotel

Slater International Hotel (No. 46, Xiying Road, Yan’an District, Xi’an), approximately 44 km (50 minutes by car) from Xi’an Xianyang International Airport, 23 km (35 minutes by car) from Xi’an North Railway Station, and 7 km (20 minutes by car) from Xi’an Railway Station. The hotel is approximately 300 meters away from Exit D of Beichitou Station on Subway Line 3, which is a 6-minute walk.
