At the northern foot of the Tianshan Mountains, the Gobi stretches far and wide. Recently, the heating tower of the 100MW solar thermal project within the CHD Tianshan North Slope Base 6.1-million-kilowatt renewable energy project was successfully topped out, marking a major milestone in the project's construction.

The project is located in the Chahaquan area of Santanghu Town, Barkol County, a region known for its strong winds. The site is plagued by year-round strong winds, dramatic day-night temperature swings, and scarce water resources, making construction conditions extremely harsh. Facing these "desert and Gobi" extremes, the team of Hami Company pressed ahead undaunted, scientifically planning production and transportation schedules, coordinating precisely and working in continuous shifts to ensure that every batch of concrete arrived at the pouring site on time and to specification.
Hami Tianshan Cement Co., Ltd. (Ready-mix Concrete) ("Hami Company"), through its quality products and efficient services, contributed solid strength to the rise of this mega project. The heating tower features complex pouring techniques and demanding technical requirements, imposing strict standards on concrete performance and supply continuity. Hami Company took the initiative to coordinate with the project department, establishing an efficient coordination mechanism with the construction contractor, the supervision unit, and all participating parties. It optimized the mix design in advance, strengthened raw material quality control, and rationally arranged the dispatch of mixer trucks and pump trucks, achieving seamless coordination across production, transportation, and pouring. All departments worked in close collaboration, providing strong support for the capping of the heating tower's main structure.
According to earlier reports, the CHD Tianshan North Slope 100MW tower solar thermal project is located in Santanghu Town, Barkol County, Hami City, Xinjiang. It is a supporting project for the third "Xinjiang Power Transmission Outward" corridor, adopts molten salt tower technology, and is equipped with a 10-hour thermal storage system.
