The filming location of this viral "Feast of Stars" is precisely the "Jixi Base Lugu UHVDC 1.4 Million kW Export Project — Unit 2 100MW CSP Project" (abbreviated as Jixi Solar Thermal Power Plant), China's northernmost tower molten salt solar thermal power station, EPC contracted by Zhongnan Engineering Corporation Limited, a vice chairman unit of the China Solar Thermal Alliance.
Every August, the Perseid meteor shower visits the night sky of the Northern Hemisphere as scheduled. The Jixi Solar Thermal Power Plant, located in the wilderness of Jilin at 45.36 degrees north latitude, has become the perfect "frame" for this celestial feast, thanks to its open and unobstructed geographical environment and its contiguous, neatly arranged high-precision heliostat field.
