From the Energy Law of the People's Republic of China and the Ecological and Environmental Code of the People's Republic of China, which explicitly call for the vigorous development of CSP, to the Several Opinions on Promoting the Large-Scale Development of CSP and the Renewable Energy Development "15th Five-Year" Plan issued by the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration, which set a target of 15 GW of CSP installed capacity by 2030 and aim to reduce CSP's levelized cost of electricity to a level comparable with coal-fired power; and from the deployment of 600 MW-class large-capacity CSP units, a clear growth trajectory has been charted for the industry.
With the ability to replace coal-fired power, CSP has a clear development goal—to serve as the "ballast" of the new power system! We look forward to all our colleagues uniting our efforts, tackling and breaking through core equipment technologies, increasing unit capacity and power generation efficiency, continuously driving down the levelized cost of electricity, and working together to promote the large-scale, high-quality development of the CSP industry, thereby injecting sustained and solid momentum into the nation's low-carbon energy transition!
