On the morning of July 2, the launch ceremony for SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd.'s (SEPCOIII) "Precision in Wind, New Realm in Manufacturing" ultra-high wind-resistant, high-precision heliostat flexible assembly line was successfully held in the production workshop of the company's Hongfeng Equipment subsidiary, marking the official commissioning of SEPCOIII's ultra-high wind-resistant, high-precision heliostat flexible assembly line.

Wang Zhifeng, Chairman of the China Solar Thermal Alliance (CSTA), Research Fellow and PhD Supervisor at the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Wang Haoyi, Vice Chairman of CSTA and Director of the Onshore Energy Division of the New Energy Research Institute of the Hydropower and Water Resources Planning and Design General Institute; Du Fengli, Secretary-General of CSTA and Director of the ZhongGuanCun XinYuan Solar Thermal Technology Service Center; Zhao Qiming, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of SEPCOIII; Dai Zengli, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy General Manager, and Chief Engineer of SEPCOIII; and other relevant personnel jointly witnessed this milestone moment in the company's intelligent manufacturing of solar thermal equipment.
The newly commissioned heliostat flexible assembly line represents an important practice of SEPCOIII's integrated layout of "R&D empowerment, engineering-driven, and equipment manufacturing synergy." It is a key advancement following the launch of the PCS3-SH Gen.1/2 small heliostats and Gen.3 medium heliostats, marking the company's leap from technology R&D and prototype trial production to standardized production and large-scale delivery. This fills the gap in mass manufacturing across the entire solar thermal industry chain and reinforces the company's core competitive advantages in the global solar thermal EPC sector.

In his address, Zhao Qiming noted that the company has been deeply engaged in the solar energy industry for more than two decades, tackling multiple core key technologies in CSP, building modular heliostat advantages, and establishing an REPCO full-industry-chain system integrating R&D, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and O&M. Going forward, the company will continue to iteratively optimize product performance, develop high-end solar thermal equipment that is domestically leading and internationally first-class, accelerate the commercial application of CSP, promote China's solar thermal industry's independent and controllable, high-quality entry into the global market, and contribute to building a new-type power system and advancing the global clean energy transition.

Wang Zhifeng extended warm congratulations to SEPCOIII on the successful commissioning of the production line, and pointed out that CSP, with its advantages of long-duration energy storage and stable baseload output, has become an important pillar for achieving the "dual carbon" goals and optimizing the energy structure. The industry has now transitioned from demonstration and pilot phases to a new stage of large-scale, low-cost, and standardized development, placing higher demands on equipment precision, wind resistance performance, and mass production efficiency. With its profound technical accumulation and engineering practice, SEPCOIII has become a backbone force in China's solar thermal industry. CSTA will continue to play its role as a platform bridge, deepening industry-university-research-application collaboration, empowering enterprise development in technology iteration, standard co-construction, achievement transformation, and market expansion, and jointly promoting the high-quality capacity expansion and upgrading of China's solar thermal industry.

SEPCOIII's technical team delivered a special report on the achievements of the new-generation heliostat flexible assembly line, interpreting the core technological breakthroughs of the line in ultra-high wind resistance, high-precision calibration, flexible compatibility with multiple specifications, and efficient mass production. The attending leaders jointly pressed the button to complete the launch ceremony, declaring that the line has entered the large-scale mass production stage.

The line is adaptable to multi-scenario project requirements and can mass-produce cost-effective new-generation medium heliostats, precisely matching the construction needs of large-scale solar thermal power plants. After commissioning, it will significantly enhance the delivery efficiency of core equipment, reduce manufacturing costs, and promote domestically produced high-end solar thermal complete equipment to the overseas market.

On the same afternoon, a delegation from the China Solar Thermal Alliance (CSTA) and the Solar Thermal Power Committee of Chinese Renewable Energy Society visited the company's Qingdao headquarters for exchange. Dai Zengli stated that the SEPCOIII will rely on the CSTA platform to continuously strengthen collaborative research with various industry stakeholders, consolidate industrial synergy, and jointly promote the high-quality and innovative development of China's CSP industry. Wang Haoyi stated that looking toward the 15th Five-Year Plan period, all parties must seize development opportunities, promote the high-standard implementation of projects under construction, and continuously broaden the solar thermal application market.

During the visit, the delegation toured the SEPCOIII's corporate culture exhibition hall to gain a detailed understanding of the SEPCOIII's development history and corporate honors.
