First Lift of Receiver Tube Panels Successfully Completed for Xinjiang Jinghe Xinhua 100MW CSP Project

At 10:00 AM on May 30, the Jinghe 100MW CSP project reached a critical milestone—the first lifting operation of the receiver tube panels officially commenced. After 30 minutes of smooth and orderly work, the first receiver tube panel was precisely positioned, marking the full launch of the receiver installation phase and laying a solid foundation for the subsequent construction of the core power generation system.

The lifting operation employed a D800-42 tower crane as the main lifting equipment. The receiver tube panel measures 2.865m × 22.5m, with a single panel weight of approximately 16.5 tons. As a core component of the heat absorption system for a 100MW molten salt tower CSP plant, a total of 16 panels will be installed and assembled to form a cylindrical receiver with a rated thermal power of 250MWt, serving as the key device for converting solar energy into thermal energy.

With a lifting height exceeding 200 meters, this operation demanded high precision and presented significant construction challenges, requiring higher standards for the lifting plan, equipment performance, and on-site coordination. To ensure the success of the first lift, the project team made advance arrangements, working jointly with the EPC contractor and supervision unit to repeatedly review the construction plan, optimize the lifting process, refine safety and technical briefings, conduct comprehensive inspections of key equipment including the tower crane, steel wire ropes, and shackles, and clarify responsibilities. During the lifting process, responsible personnel from the owner, supervision, and EPC contractor were present throughout to supervise, ensuring safe, orderly, and precisely controlled operations.

The success of this first lift marks not only a significant milestone in the construction of the Jinghe CSP project, but also creates favorable conditions for subsequent critical procedures, including the overall installation of the receiver, positioning of buffer tanks, and tower top lifting. Moving forward, the Jinghe CSP project will continue to strengthen project management, coordinate with all participating construction units to fully advance project construction, and strive for early completion and commissioning, contributing to the implementation of China's "dual carbon" strategy and the advancement of regional green and low-carbon development.
