Royal Tech CSP Limited's Nanchong New Generation Solar Thermal Technology Industrialization Base Successfully Topped Out

On May 11, Royal Tech CSP Limited's new generation solar thermal technology industrialization base, invested and constructed in Nanchong, Sichuan Province, was successfully topped out. The main building construction of the project has entered a new stage, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent entry, installation, and commissioning of production line equipment.

In response to the supportive policies issued by national industry authorities to promote the scaled development of the solar thermal power generation industry, and to achieve the goals of rapid technology and equipment iteration as well as cost reduction and efficiency improvement, Royal Tech CSP Limited has established in Jialing District, Nanchong City, a new generation ultra-large format curved tempered double-glass reflector production line and an ultra-low heat loss large-diameter receiver tube production line, and will jointly carry out multiple scientific research and pilot projects with various research institutes and universities.

As modular standard equipment, trough collector devices can be scaled up on a large scale after industrialization, just like photovoltaic arrays (the 600MW trough solar thermal project in Dubai achieved a global first with an 8 million square meter-scale trough mirror field). They can also be deployed in a distributed manner for industrial green heat steam and residential heating applications, achieving deep integration in various low-carbon scenarios. After the project is put into production, the company will rely on the mature RT86 model design to upgrade to the RT86G2 collector, further improving interception accuracy and significantly reducing installation man-hours, while also laying a solid foundation for the R&D and demonstration of the next-generation ultra-large trough collector RT1XX model.

The successful topping out of the main plant building is an important milestone for Royal Tech CSP Limited in improving its Southwest China industrial layout and expanding core equipment production capacity. In the future, the company will advance subsequent engineering construction with high standards and high efficiency, continue to deeply cultivate the R&D and industrialization application of core solar thermal technologies, empower the energy transition through technological innovation, and continuously contribute to the high-quality development of the solar thermal industry and the achievement of dual carbon goals.
