On March 6, Xu Haiming, Member of the Party Leadership Group of Qinghai Provincial Development and Reform Commission and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of Qinghai Provincial Energy Bureau, led a delegation to Northwest Electric Power Design Institute Co., LTD, of China Power Engineering Consulting Group (CPECC Northwest) for research and attended the unveiling ceremony of Qinghai Provincial Electric Power Planning Research Center. The delegation visited Digital Intelligence Exhibition Hall, gaining in-depth understanding of CPECC Northwest 's westward relocation history, business layout, talent cultivation, and technological innovation. They fully affirmed positive achievements in promoting the construction of new-type power systems and serving the national "dual carbon" strategic goals.
Xu Haiming stated that Qinghai Province, as an important energy strategic hub in northwest China, has actively implemented the national overall deployment of energy development in recent years, focusing on building a highland for clean energy industries, and making concerted efforts to accelerate the implementation of major projects such as "Sand, Gobi and Desert" large-scale renewable energy bases and large-scale power transmission channels, laying a solid foundation for high-quality energy development in Qinghai during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period. As a leading enterprise in the industry, CPECC Northwest has maintained close cooperative relations with Qinghai Province for a long time and is an important force in promoting local energy development. In the future, it is expected that NWEPDI will rely on this new platform of Qinghai Provincial Electric Power Planning Research Center, focus on UHV transmission channels, "Sand, Gobi and Desert" large-scale renewable energy bases and other series of projects, as well as cutting-edge fields such as intelligent and digital energy, promote the implementation of more landmark and demonstrative projects, and contribute more Qinghai solutions, Qinghai wisdom, and Qinghai experience to the national energy transition.
