On January 29, the National Energy Administration (NEA) officially released the "Top 10 Scientific and Technological Innovation Achievements in the Energy Sector for 2025," among which the "100-MW Class Multi-Tower Single-Receiver Concentrating Solar Collection System for CSP Plants," completed by China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), was selected.

Multi-tower single-receiver CSP technology represents an important pathway for developing large-capacity, low-cost solar thermal resources. This achievement pioneered the multi-tower single-receiver concentrating solar collection system architecture, overcoming key technical and equipment challenges in multi-tower joint concentration design algorithms, high-precision heliostats, and receiver core materials, effectively enhancing system integration and resource utilization efficiency. The achievement has been applied to the 700,000-kilowatt "CSP Plus Energy Storage" project in Guazhou, Jiuquan, Gansu Province, providing technical reference for building a batch of grid-supporting and regulating new energy power stations primarily based on CSP generation in desert, Gobi and wasteland areas of Northwest China.
