January 1, 2026 , Supcon Delingha 50 MW tower molten-salt CSP plant owned by Zhejiang Zhongguang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (a governing unit of the CSTA) delivered strong results once again. By 24:00 on December 31, 2025, the station had generated 143 million kWh for the year, completing its annual target for the fourth year running and closing 2025 with solid, reliable performance.
Commissioned at the end of 2018, the Supcon Delingha plant has continuously optimized its operating strategy and raised system efficiency. In 2022 it became the world’s first tower molten-salt storage CSP station whose annual output fully reached its design value. Over the past four years it has exceeded its generation target every year, accumulating 582 million kWh and demonstrating the reliability and excellence of tower molten-salt solar thermal technology.
