Molten-Salt Thermal Energy Storage Systems Supplier—Bluestar (Beijing) Chemical Machinery Co., Ltd. Joins the CSTA

Bluestar (Beijing) Chemical Machinery Co., Ltd. (Bluestar BCM) has officially joined the China Solar Thermal Alliance.  A wholly owned subsidiary of Sinochem Holdings Corporation Ltd. under the direct administration of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), Bluestar BCM serves as Sinochem’s high-end equipment R&D, design and manufacturing platform. Its four core product lines are:   advanced molten-salt thermal energy storage systems, elec

rolysis packages, biomass resource comprehensive-utilization packages, and specialty valves.

As of May 2025, the total molten-salt storage capacity of projects delivered or under construction by Bluestar BCM has reached 24.2 GWh. Representative references include: Qinghai SUPCON Delingha 10 MW + 50 MW CSP plants (molten-salt storage) , Dubai 100 MW molten-salt tower CSP project ,Yumen Xinneng 50 MW molten-salt tower CSP project , CNNC Yumen Xin’ao 100 MW molten-salt linear-Fresnel CSP project,  Three Gorges Hengji Energy Pulse Guazhou 100 MW CSP project,  Jinta Zhongguang 100 MW CSP project ,China Energy Engineering Zhejiang Thermal Power 100 MW CSP project , Tangshan Hi-Tech 100 MW CSP project.

Qinghai SUPCON 50 MW Delingha Project  

In 2024, the retrofit of the 10 MW Delingha CSP plant’s molten-salt receiver was successfully synchronized to the grid, marking another major breakthrough for Bluestar BCM in the fabrication and installation of molten-salt receivers.
