On the eve of the "July 1st" Party Foundation Day, the Guotou Ruoqiang County 100MW solar thermal energy storage project, which is EPC-general-contracted by Shouhang High-tech Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and North China Power Engineering CO., LTD, of China Power Engineering Consulting Group, has successfully capped its receiver tower and main workshop. The project is also equipped with a 900MW photovoltaic grid-connected power generation project under market-oriented conditions.
The project team has deeply integrated intelligent construction sites, high-head concrete lifting systems, and slipform technology. The receiver tower, which stands as high as 184 meters, has a vertical deviation of the central axis within 14.6mm, only 17% of the national standard limit value; the radius deviation of any cross-section of the cylinder wall is less than 4.5mm.
The main workshop adopts a modular multi-dimensional centralized layout of the turbine house, SGS workshop, and ancillary workshops, which has optimized the construction safety supervision and quality control processes. This innovative design has reduced the medium transmission loss by 2%, and the total pipeline length is shortened by 11% compared with the traditional solution, which has equipped the turbine generator set with an "acceleration engine."
At present, the project construction is being safely and steadily promoted. 4,553 heliostat piles have been completed with high quality, and the construction of various ancillary buildings is being carried out in an orderly manner.
