IEECAS hosts solar thermal utilization technology training in Beijing

On June 25, the Institute of Electrical Engineering of Chinese Academy of Sciences (IEECAS) officially opened a training course on solar thermal utilization technology in Yanqing County of Beijing. The training course is funded by the personnel bureau of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which makes the participants free of training fee and meals.
This five-day training course aims to train relevant personnel engaged in the solar thermal utilization industry to know more in theory and practice on CSP technologies, solar low and medium temperature applications, solar desalination and operation and maintenance of solar thermal power plant.
The first day training course was given by Dr. Wang Zhifeng, researcher of IEECAS, and executive chairman of China National Solar Thermal Energy Alliance (CNSTEA) and vice-chairman of Solarpaces. 
There’re nearly 80 persons from various companies and universities who attended the course.
