On October 24th, the list of alternate members of the nineteenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was published, Mrs. He Yaling, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor of Xi'an Jiao Tong University, PhD students supervisor, chief scientist of National Program on Key Basic Research Projects (973 Program), Changjiang (Yangtze River) Scholar award winner (the highest academic award issued to an individual in higher education by the Ministry of Education), was elected as the alternate member.
As the expert in engineering thermal physics and energy conservation in China, Mrs. He Yaling has long been engaged in the research of theory and new methods of efficient use of energy and energy-saving, new energy utilization (solar energy, fuel cell), waste heat utilization, new thermal storage technology, thermal and Fluid Science in aerospace etc., has made great achievements.
In three consecutive China Solar Thermal Electricity conferences organized by China National Solar Energy Alliance from 2015-2017, He Yaling presented and made keynote speeches on “solar heat collection system optimization under the guidance of photothermal matching principle”, “enhanced heat transfer of solar collector”, and “medium-high temperature thermal storage technology application in CSP and its future development trends”.
