On Dec. 6, China National Solar Thermal
Energy Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the Alliance)
held the first meeting of the 3rd session of its experts committee in Institute of Electrical
Engineering, Chinese
Academy of Sciences.

On the meeting, Prof. Zhifeng Wang ,the
deputy director of the Alliance,
announced the composition of the third session of the experts committee, and
issued the letters of appointment to the experts. Mr. Hongguang Jin,
academician of the Chinese
Academy of Sciences, was
appointed as the chairman of the expert committee. Mr. Zhongfang Ma, professor
of Beijing University of Technology, and Xiang Huang, former chief engineer of
Chinese Huadian Engineering (Group) Co., were
appointed as the vice chairmen. Prof. Xudong Yang from Tsinghua University, Mr.
Xiaobing Liu, president of Focusing Solar Technology (Beijing) Limited, Ershu
Xu, rearcher of Institute of Electrical Engineering of Chinese Academy of
Sciences , Mr. Zong Jun, director of solar energy group of China National Power
Investment Group , Min Zhao, deputy chief engineer of Research Institute of
Electric Power Planning and Design, Mr. Jixue Wang, Prof.-level senior
engineer, from China Renewable Energy Engineering Institute, Prof. Xinrong
Zhang from Peking University, Mrs. Hong Hui, researcher of Institute of
Engineering Thermal Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences were appointed as the
committee members.
During the meeting, the experts discussed
around the development direction, key tasks of the Alliance in the new era of solar thermal
power industry .
According to the articles 3.1 of the
constitution of the Alliance, the expert
committee is a consulting body of the Alliance.
The experts members were appointed by
the director board, and have the same term with the director board. The expert
committee is to provide consultation and suggestions to decision makers of the Alliance, and put forward development direction of the Alliance.
