The 87th SolarPACES executive committee meeting was held on Sep. 21, 2014 in Beijing. At the meeting, Dr. Wang Zhifeng, president of National Solar Thermal Energy Alliance and researcher of Institute of Electrical Engineering,Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Dr. Robert Pitz Paal, director of DLR Solar Research Institute, were elected as vice presidents of IEA SolarPACES.
Until now SolarPACES has one president and two vice presidents. The president is Dr. Manuel Blanco from Spain National Renewable Energy Center, and the two presidents are Dr. Wang Zhifeng and Dr. Robert Pitz Paal.
