On March 13, the 100MW CSP project, a sub-project of the Luneng Fukang 1000MW multi-energy complementary project, was being accelerated in construction.
He Shaolin, the project manager of the Luneng Fukang multi-energy complementary project's 100MW CSP project by CGDG Cosin Solar said: "The Luneng Fukang multi-energy complementary project is constructing a 100MW tower CSP unit, equipped with an 8-hour molten salt energy storage system and a supporting 110kV step-up substation. The project team began the installation of heliostats at the end of February and plans to complete all heliostat construction by July 15, 2025. The grid connection is expected to be completed by late October."
The Luneng Fukang CSP project is one of the sub-projects of the CGDG Luneng Fukang 1000MW multi-energy complementary project. The total light-receiving area of the mirror field is approximately 580,000 square meters, with a total of 15,697 heliostats. The equivalent heat storage duration is 8 hours. After the project is connected to the grid, it will complement the existing 900MW photovoltaic power generation project, enabling 24-hour uninterrupted power generation.
