China Energy Engineering Group Zhejiang Thermal Power Construction Co., Ltd. has recently announced significant progress in the Turpan Qiketai Solar Thermal and Photovoltaic Integration Project. Shandong Ainesen New Material Technology Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as " Ainesen ") has successfully completed the 15,000-ton molten salt eutectic task and has smoothly advanced to the secondary heating stage of power generation grid connection commissioning, with a target temperature of 550°C. This marks a crucial step towards full-capacity grid-connected power generation.

Molten salt, as the core energy storage medium of CSP, requires the molten salt system to maintain stability and energy efficiency during high and low-temperature cycles. Ainesen, leveraging its independently developed high-performance molten salt materials, overcame technical challenges posed by the extreme climate conditions in Xinjiang. They ensured that the 15,000 tons of molten salt met the required purity standards and exhibited excellent thermal stability, providing a solid guarantee for the safe operation of the energy storage system under the subsequent high-temperature conditions of 550°C.
