On December 27th, the inauguration ceremony for CHEC's molten salt thermal storage test platform and the unveiling of the National Fire Power Engineering Technology Research Center Moltens Salt Thermal Storage Test Base took place at Henan Huadian Jin Yuan Pipeline Co., Ltd.

It was reported that CHEC and North China Electric Power University signed an agreement on October 21st this year to jointly establish the "National Fire Power Engineering Technology Research Center Huadian Sub-Center". Both parties are committed to creating an innovative platform for "scientific and technological innovation, technical research and development, achievement transformation, and talent cultivation" in the field of thermal power generation. CHEC's molten salt test platform, as the "National Fire Power Engineering Technology Research Center Moltens Salt Thermal Storage Test Base", will play a significant technical support role in molten salt performance testing and molten salt equipment verification.

Previously, the test platform simulated a complete molten salt Carnot power station system, with a system thermal storage capacity of 4.5MWh, molten salt thermal storage temperature of 400°C, and a thermal storage duration of 4 hours. All technical indicators have met the expected targets.
