The CSTA has learned that recently, the 100MW solar thermal main project of Jintar Zhongguang Solar's "100MW Solar Thermal + 600MW Photovoltaic" project has been fully completed and is undergoing commissioning. The overall progress of the 600MW photovoltaic project has reached 80%, and it is scheduled to be fully connected to the grid and generate electricity on December 28th of this year, in synchronization with the operation of the State Grid Jintar 750 substation.
According to the introduction, the project has been strictly constructed in accordance with the winter construction plan, with a focus on strengthening safety management in concrete earthwork, electrical installation and commissioning, and other aspects to ensure that the overall project quality is controllable and in control.
Jintar Zhongguang Solar's "100MW Solar Thermal + 600MW Photovoltaic" project is one of the large-scale wind and photovoltaic base construction projects in desert, Gobi, and desert regions published by the National Energy Administration. The project, developed and constructed by Jinta Zhongguang Solar Power Co., Ltd., has a total installed capacity of 700MW, adopting a "solar thermal +" configuration model, including 100MW of solar thermal and 600MW of photovoltaic. The solar thermal part is organized and constructed by Zhejiang KeSheng Technology Co., Ltd., and uses its independently developed tower-type solar thermal power generation technology, equipped with an 8-hour molten salt energy storage system.
