On October 18, all heliostats for ENERGY CHINA Xinjiang Turpan CSP + PV Integration Project 100MW CT CSP Project (the “Project”), being constructed by Cosin Solar as a member of the EPC consortium, was successfully assembled and rolled off the assembly line, marking another major breakthrough in the project.

Since the start of the project, Cosin Solar project construction team has overcome difficulties, actively mobilized the company's high-quality resources, strengthened schedule control and quality management, and completed all heliostat assembly tasks with high efficiency and high quality, fully demonstrating the production management and delivery capabilities of Cosin Solar heliostat products. Up to now, the lifting of the project heat absorber tube screen has been completed, and the installation project of the light-collecting heat collection system has entered the final sprint stage. In the next stage, Cosin Solar will fully cooperate with the owner unit to complete the sub-system debugging, and escort the project to achieve the goal of grid-connected power generation.

Currently Cosin Solar in Xinjiang region to participate in the construction of five CT CSP projects, a total installed capacity of 550MW are steadily advancing. Cosin Solar will take this project as the fulcrum, give full play to its own supply chain and engineering management advantages, and inject new momentum and vitality into the high-quality development of the solar thermal industry in Xinjiang.

The ENERGY CHINA Xinjiang Turpan CSP + PV Integration Project is one of the second batch of market-oriented grid-connected new energy park projects in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in 2022. The project, located in Qiketai Town, Shanshan County, Turpan City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, has a total installed capacity of 1GW, including 900MW PV (AC side) and 100MW CT CSP, with a 12-hour molten salt storage system.

Cosin Solar, China Energy Engineering Group Zhejiang Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Huaye Power Engineering Co., Ltd. as a consortium won the bid for the EPC contract of the Project. According to the consortium's DOR, Cosin Solar will mainly be responsible for the engineering, equipment integration and supply, related commissioning and operation advisory services for the Solar field and the MSR system, together with some necessary technical support for other systems as required by the owner.
