Consortium of Gansu Installation Group and SunSum won Xinhua Bozhou 100MW CSP procurement and construction contract

According to the bid announcement of Xinhua Botai (Boler) Power Investment Co., Ltd. on June 21, 2023, the consortium of Gansu Installation and Construction Group Co., Ltd. and SunSum Technology Co., Ltd, which both are the members of the China Solar Thermal Alliance (CSTA), ranks the first place among the winning candidates of PC (procurement and construction) general contract for its 100MW CSP project in Bozhou, Xinjiang Autonomous Region.
According to the previous bidding announcement, the winning bidder will provide all equipment and materials related to the 100MW CSP project except for the full phase of the engineering survey and design part. The main process equipment shall have a design life of not less than 25 years. CSP power station operation and maintenance. The project is scheduled to be connected to the grid before September 30, 2024.
The project is located in Dalete Town, Bole City, Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Autonomous Region, about 13km away from Bole City. It is planned to build 100MW CSP and 900MW PV plants, with a total rated capacity of 1000MW. A new 110kV booster station will be built for the 100MW CSP project.
