According to the news from China Energy Engineering Group Northwest Power Construction Engineering Co., Ltd, on May 6, China Energy Engineering Group Northwest Power Construction Engineering Co., Ltd won the bidding of Tangshan Haitai Xinneng Technology Co., Ltd., 900 MW photovoltaic +100 MW Concentrated Solar Power integration EPC general contract project.
This project is located in Gaochang District, Turpan City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is a demonstration project of large-capacity integration of «PV+ CSP». It is a heat-storage type solar thermal power project with 12-hour heat storage duration.
The scope of the project includes all the work completed by the project investigation and design, equipment and material procurement and supply, construction and installation engineering construction, test and inspection, system debugging, pilot run, elimination, performance quality assurance, until the completion and acceptance of the project in the photovoltaic and solar thermal areas, and the service within the quality assurance period.
After the project is completed and put into operation, it will effectively improve the stability of the local power system, the quality of power supply and the consumption level of new energy, improve the efficiency of energy utilization and economic benefits, provide a large number of jobs, promote the local economic and social development, energy conservation and emission reduction, and help achieve the «double carbon» goal.
