On September 27, 2019, CSIC Sunway Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. ("CSIC Sunway" in short) officially received the Letter of Acceptance for supplying 5 cleaning vehicles to CPECC Hami 50MW Tower CSP project.
The solar field of the project adopts uniquely the Stellio heliostat of SBP, which features a unique pentagon design with a net aperture area of 47.5 square meters. According to this, CSIC Sunway adopted the method of cleaning arm to rotate the center line of the heliostat to solve the problem of water waste caused by the horizontal or vertical cleaning of the pentagonal mirror.
Based on the strong power in the cleaning equipment market, CSIC Sunway successfully developed a series of cleaning devices that can be applied to parabolic trough, tower and Fresnel CSP plants in a short period of time, and has successfully won the bids of multiple CSP projects.
