Zhifeng Wang:Professor of Institute of Electrical Engineering of Chinese Academy of Sciences (IEE-CAS).Born in 1963, got the Bachelor degree in inorganic non-metallic materials science from Wuhan University of Technology in 1985, Master degree from Department of Inorganic Nonmetal Material Engineering of Wuhan University of Technology in 1990, Ph.D. degree in Engineering Thermophysics from Tsinghua University in 1993.
Awardee of Ten Thousand Talent Program of China, Awardee of 100 talents program of CAS, distinguished backbone Professor of CAS since 2015.He presided 2 national standards compiling; published more than 190 papers ,more than 60 ones collected into SCI in the past five years; awarded more than 90 invention patents, published papers on CSP were cited 3,430 times
Major innovative achievements:
 Presided the R&D, design, construction, commission and operation of 1MW solar tower power plant located in Badaling, Beijing
 Addressed the core scientific problems in non-stable solar-thermal-electricity process of CSP, which was funded by the National Key Basic Research Program of China, with excellence evaluation in final project approval 
 Proposed China solar thermal electricity development roadmap.
 Proposed building a zero-carbon Olympic Zone in Chongli for 2022 Winter Olympic application, and solving the building heating with cross-seasonal solar thermal collection/storage, which was published in 2022 Winter Olympic bidding report
 Deeply involved in the proposal of establishment of a renewable energy demonstration zone in Zhangjiakou city, which was approved by the State Council on July 29
 During the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” period, he was the chief scientist of the national key research and development plan “Study on the key technical issues of supercritical carbon dioxide solar thermal power generation”, and proposed the ultra-high temperature and high pressure fourth generation solar thermal power generation technology of flexible endotherm – supercritical carbon dioxide solar heat. Power generation technology.
 As the head of the Chinese Academy of Sciences' pilot project A, "Solar energy storage across the seasons", the company has organized a solar energy cross-season heat storage district heating project using 100,000m³ non-insulated large-scale thermal storage water body in the cold region using water stratification technology.
